Movie Review Haiku: The Expendables 3

Old school meets new school

Lots of things go boom, boom, boom

Third time is the charm

This was better than the second movie in this series, and it really had me enjoying the ride this time.

It seemed like they toned down the humor, added some new grey members, and just amped up the action. The last thirty minutes or so is almost beyond ridiculous, but it is so entertaining to watch.

Solid work by all involved in front and behind the camera.

Have you seen The Expendables 3? Shout out to me what you thought about it.

  1. I watched this a couple of days ago. It was a lot of fun. I knew the old team would have to come to the rescue. And that last part was relentless. It must have taken a lot of time to film all that action! Mel Gibson did a fine job as the villain. And Antonio Banderas was a hoot. Doesn’t he ever shut up. LOL

  2. I agree with all of that. Much better than I thought it would be. Sad to see these guys getting so old though. They were my go to heroes when I was a kid.
