Ladybug hanging

Clinging to the silver screen

Hoping for some warmth

There are about 5,000 different species of ladybugs in the world. These much-loved critters are also known as lady beetles or ladybird beetles. They come in many different colors and patterns, but the most familiar in North America is the seven-spotted ladybug, with its shiny, red-and-black body. In many cultures, ladybugs are considered good luck. Source: Ladybug

      1. I just thought there was orange with black spots which was poisonous and red with black spots which wasn’t, and I knew that not all ladybirds have the same number of black spots… just thought they were all the same species. Quite interesting.

  1. (Note: this is supposed to be humorous)

    Much-loved?

    Good luck?

Ladybugs aren’t nice, cute little creatures, bumbling about harmlessly. Lots of ladybugs are predators. That’s right, predators.

    Viscous,
    merciless,
    killers.

They stalk their prey, ripping them limb from limb, as they scream in terror.

Apparently, their tactic of bright colors and a cute name has had the intended effect of lulling you into complacency. Don’t be fooled!

Stand on the side of the poor, defenseless, creatures that they feast upon in their ravenous gluttony. Change your ways!

    1. I will keep all of that in mind when I see them again. I did chuckle after I read this. I guess my humor and your humor work on the same level. Thanks for the comment.
